3DMakerpro Lynx 3D Scanner
The 3DMakerPro Lynx is a versatile handheld 3D scanner for medium to large objects. Covering a 250mm to 2m scanning range with 0.10mm accuracy at 10fps, the Lynx sits between the small-object precision of the Seal range and the specialist large-format capability of the Moose — making it the most broadly applicable scanner in the 3DMakerPro lineup for general product design, reverse engineering, and prototyping work.

250mm to 2m — The Most Versatile Scanning Range
Most real-world objects that designers, engineers, and makers need to digitise fall within the Lynx's 250mm–2m range. A motorcycle fuel tank, an office chair, a custom tool, a mannequin head, a car door trim panel — all sit comfortably within range. The Lynx handles these without the operator needing to think carefully about whether the object is too big or too small for the scanner, making it the most practical choice for workshops and design studios with mixed scanning workloads.
Markerless Tracking
The Lynx uses intelligent feature-based tracking to maintain its position relative to the object without physical markers. For objects with sufficient surface geometry — most mechanical parts, consumer products, and organic shapes — markerless scanning is faster and cleaner, eliminating the time spent placing and removing adhesive markers and the risk of markers obscuring important surface features. An optional marker mode is available for scanning featureless surfaces like flat panels.
JMStudio Software
JMStudio processes scan data in real time and provides guided alignment, automatic hole filling, mesh smoothing, and export in OBJ, STL, and PLY formats. Files integrate directly with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, and 3D printing slicers without additional conversion steps.
