20W vs 40W — Choosing the Right Power

The 20W version handles the majority of craft and small business applications: cutting basswood up to 15mm, acrylic up to 12mm, and engraving leather, cork, fabric, and anodised metals at high speed. For most users, 20W is the practical choice.

The 40W version is built for heavier cutting workloads — basswood up to 25mm, acrylic up to 20mm, and faster throughput on thick materials. Choose 40W if your primary use case is production cutting of thicker stock, or if you need to maximise throughput on batch jobs.

The S1's fully enclosed design achieves Class 1 laser safety certification — meaning the machine does not emit hazardous radiation externally during normal operation. The built-in air purification system removes fumes and particles at source, reducing the need for external ventilation ducting.

Passthrough Slots
